"Dance of the Flowers" was heavily inspired by the morphing, illusionistic work of Rob Gonsalvez. His paintings present two incongruous interpretations smoothly blending into each other withing a single frame- block towers turning into a skyline, a lake built piece by piece out of mirrors transported by boats sailing on the lake, etc. Using ink and colored pencil, I blended a field of tulips with a stage of ballerinas.
